PRAGUE (CIA) - Approximately 52 % of Czechs have been saving for old age in some way usually under CZK 1000 per month. A full 55 % of people are convinced that the state should provide for them in old age. Approximately 31 % of people realise that maintaining their living standard in old age is up to themselves.
People in pre-pension age save higher sums of money. There are, on the other hand, no greater difference in savings of old age between the country and greater cities. This is according to a survey of CSOB prepared by Factum Invenio. 739 respondents attended the survey.
