PRAGUE (ČIA) – The volume of industrial space leased in Central Europe (including Romania) exceeded according to Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) 3.2 mln m2 last year. This represents a y/y increase of 21 %. According to the head of the Central European industrial team at C&W, Ferdinand Hlobil, Poland accounted for the largest share of rentals in the region with almost 60 % of the volume of all of last year’s rentals. Interest increased in all of the region’s countries, with the exception of the Czech Republic, where 10.6 % less space was leased. Automobile suppliers were most active.
