PRAGUE (ČIA) – The road transport cost index calculated by the Association of Automotive Carriers, Česmad Bohemia, climbed by 3.2% in Q4 compared with the previous quarter. Year on year, the index increased 5.1%. Higher cost items in the reported period included higher driver costs that rose 1.9% from the same quarter in 2010, according to the Association. Interest rates were low and contributed to a 0.8% y/y decline in financing expenses, according to the study.
