PRAGUE (CIA) – According to an evaluation of the magazine Global Finance, Ceska sporitelna has become the safest bank in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Komercni banka in CR took the second place and the third belong to the Slovenian Nova Ljubljanska Banka. The fourth place belongs to the Polish Polska Kasa Opieki and the fifth to the Slovak CSOB.

The chart has been made based on the rating of the agencies Fitch, Moody´s and S&P accentuating capital adequacy and the outlook of financial institutions. The Swiss Credit Suisse has won worldwide. The second place belongs to the Swedish Nordea and the third to the Spanish la Caixa.
