PRAGUE (ČIA) – In the first eleven months of 2011, 400 Czech textile and clothing companies associated in the Association of Textile, Clothing and Boot Industry saw their sales rise 10% compared with the same period of 2010. If the companies sustained the said pace of growth in December, the textile industry will get to the 14% rise for 2011 and the clothing industry will see a 6% rise. Employment in the textile industry has been slightly growing after a long time, said Jiří Kohoutek, president of the Association.
