PRAGUE (ČIA) – The tenants in warehouses and production halls saw their costs drop around Europe last year, due to stagnating demand. This stems from the data from the firm DTZ. The Czech Republic was an exception. The head of the DTZ’s Consulting & Research department in Prague, Lenka Šindelářová, has stated that the increase in the Czech Republic was marginal, totalling ca. 1%. According to her, the growth was driven primarily by higher service fees and the rents alone have stagnated. According to DTZ, the rents in the Czech Republic will likely remain stable in 2012.
