PRAGUE (ČIA) – To date 61 % of Czech companies have managed to lower their most significant costs and 35 % of companies are intensively working on lowering their costs at present. This stems from a survey of chief financial officer (CFO) agendas conducted by Ernst&Young in the Czech Republic which focused on perceptions of business process efficiency. According to the survey CFOs focused on lowering costs by increasing efficiency. 64 % of respondents in the Czech Republic have reported an increase in profits before taxes for last year.
