PRAGUE (ÈIA) – The installed output of Czech photovoltaic power plants totalled 1,963.6 MW as of December 1, 2011. The output increased by 0.6% on the beginning of 2011 and more than quadrupled on the beginning of 2010. The no. of photovoltaic power plants grew by 90 to 12,951 since the beginning of the year. There were totally 6,032 photovoltaic power plants in the Czech Republic at the beginning of 2010. This stems from the data from the Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ).
