PRAGUE (ČIA) – Online card payments are considered the least secure method of payment. This stems from a GfK Czech survey, according to which 54 % of respondents doubt the security of this payment method. More than 50 % of respondents consider card payments sufficiently secure; more than 80 % however expressed a general concern about skimming. Respondents consider card payments in stores more secure (30 %) than cash withdrawals from a bank machine (32 %).
