PRAGUE (ČIA) – This fall the Agriculture Ministry will once again start accepting applications for financial support from young farmers. Farmers under the age of 40 starting out in agriculture can get a subsidy of up to EUR 40,000 to implement their business plans, especially for the construction and reconstruction of agricultural buildings and the procurement of equipment. According to Agriculture Minister Petr Bendl, young farmers will be offered roughly CZK 150 mln in this year’s 17^th round of applications.
