PRAGUE (ČIA) – The Environment Ministry (MŽP ) expects earnings from emission permit auctions to reach CZK 2.6 bln. According to Environment Minister Tomáš Chalupa two other scenarios expect earnings to reach between CZK 3.9 and 5.3 bln. According to the ministry the scenario is most realistic given current permit prices and the effects of an economic slowdown. Chalupa stated this at the first roundtable which included representatives of ministries, the Association of Municipalities and the Economic Chamber.
