PRAGUE (CIA) - T-Mobile, which won an electronic auction, will likely be the mobile operator of the Ministry for the Regional Development of the Czech Republic (MMR) for two years. Telefónica O2 Czech Republic has filed a proposal for a check of actions of the ministry with the Antimonopoly Office of the Czech Republic (UOHS).
Telefónica spokesman Martin Zabka said that the company will not comment on the matter until UOHS decides. Jan Stoll of MMR told CIA that the ministry did not agree with the complaint filed by Telefónica O2. According to the complaint, the tool E-ZAK used in the electronic auction for the supplier of services of a mobile operator does not have a relevant attest. The Interior Ministry, however, granted the attest for the E-ZAK on September 15, 2009.
