PayU: popularity of online payments on the rise

PRAGUE (ČIA) – The volume of payments over the PayU payment gate rose six times in the second half of 2011 compared with the same period of 2010. With online payments, customers paid more than CZK 293 mln for goods and services. Fast bank transfers of individual banks account for the highest portion in PayU transactions (51%). The mostly used are fast payments of mBank and Komerční banka.
