PRAGUE (ČIA) – 75% of developers saw their revenues drop due to the crisis in the 2008-2010 period, together with more than a half of building companies and 67% of building material producers in the Czech Republic. According to an analysis by the firm Soliditet, the crisis of the Czech building industry will continue also this year. Company director David Farský has stated that the environment on the market is highly competitive, with above-average invoice due dates. The fight for each contract pulls prices down, and small players, who act as subsuppliers, are facing a substantially more difficult situation.
