PRAGUE (CIA) - According to a research by Gemius E-commerce 2009 based on data provided by Kasa.cz, among inhabitants of the Visegrad Four countries some 81% of Czechs, 76% of Slovaks, 69% of Poles, and 66% of Hungarians have already bought some goods online. While Poles think the online shopping is risky (40%) and difficult (10%), Czechs are convinced it is cheaper than classic shops (65%) and takes less time (57%).
Poles want to shop online more often (29%), Czechs then want it slightly less (24%). Czechs would be convinced for more online shopping by lower prices (39%), broader assortment (15%), and special offers (12%). On the other hand, 2% of Czechs and 3% of Slovaks would not be convinced for more online shopping at all.
