PRAGUE (ČIA) – One of the current major problems of the domestic heating segment is according to the chairman of the executive council of the Heating Association Mirek Topolánek the tax and fee discrimination that favors local production of heat. Heating plants also face problems due to the uncertainty with long-term securing of coal deliveries and low levels of support for combined production of electricity and heat. Topolánek says room needs to be created for adaptation of the heating segment if it is to be preserved.
