PRAGUE (CIA) – In the second quarter of this year revenues of Czech Unipetrol increased 30% q/q to CZK 23.41 bln. The revenues then showed a growth by 48% y/y. Unipetrol’s revenues grew 37% y/y to CZK 41.49 bln in the first half of this year. The net profit of the company recorded in H1 totalled CZK 829 mln, while the company showed a loss in the amount of CZK 544 mln in the same period of last year.

EBITDA of the company increased 23% q/q to CZK 1.67 bln and it grew 134% to CZK 3.02 bln in H1. The EBITDA margin totalled 7.1% in Q2 and grew thus 3.4 percentage point y/y. The margin then increased three percentage points y/y to 7.3% in H1, according to a statement by Unipetrol.
