History

 

February 2010: We launch a new company website, ČIAnews.cz. In addition to information about our products, the ČIAnews.cz website brings news service from the Czech economy and selected outputs from our paid products. The WebReporter section focuses on Czech culture and interesting reports inspired by high quality foreign media.

 

January 2010: The agency's new products include high quality news service for corporate websites. Our first clients include e.g. power utility ČEZ, which informs the visitors of its English website about the development of the Czech economy. More information on our offer may be found here.  

 

June 2009: Ing. Hana Pavlištová, ČIA's CEO, is elected the Vice-President of the Czech-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the chamber's board of directors.

 

2005-2007: Current executive and CEO Ing. Hana Pavlištová comes to the firm in 2005, with long-term experience from Czech and German banking. Focus on products for Czech and foreign management deepens under her leadership.

 

The agency acquires hundreds of new clients per year, expands is product offer and cooperates actively with major institutions, such as foreign chambers of commerce, embassies, manager associations and, last but not least, foreign news agencies.

 

ČIA's products, available in three language versions, are read daily by over 4,500 managers in hundreds of firms in the Czech Republic and abroad. 

 

2006: ČIA executive and CEO Ing. Hana Pavlištová is elected by the members of the Czech-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry into the board of directors of this largest foreign chamber in the Czech Republic. 

 

2003-2005: ČIA's strategy changes in 2004. ČIA is gradually moving from services for the PR segment to economic and product information for corporate management.

 

1999-2003: Following the entry of the current owner into the firm in 1999, ČIA's editorial team is formed; it has a significant impact on the future product offer and focus. The vision of the necessity of own economic news service continues to add value up to now.

 

1997-1999: Česká informační agentura (ČIA) has been present on the market since 1997. As one of the first agencies, it started processing high quality intranet media monitoring information solutions for major companies and specialized in media analyses.
